The emergence of  growing information technology specially in health care sector has been enourmously affected physicians to use some gadgets to access  knowlodge instatly wherever they are:
  • To help busy clinicians the gadgets called pocket computers or held in the palm of hand [hand held computers,palm top computers] by providing rapid access critical information resources at the point of care.eg;clinical drug reference.

  • The hand held computer is not only lighter in weight than pocket drug guide but also store much more detailed information and provide other facilities too.

for symbian os like in Nokia n97,the epocrates not yet made ,but for blackberry and iphone and palms os they have an separate apps.

Dear Sir, I am using N97-Nokia. Is there any medical software that is compatable to this mobile? Because Epocrates is not supporting this mobile device.Is there any alternative ? or simply change my mobile? KIREETI

you can download APORTIS DOC CONVERTER and convert your books, in pdf to pbd and chm formats to read in your pocket pc, i am using htc and found it to be very useful in my reguar work dr.g.sidhartha kiran asram eluru.
