ADHD - The Hidden Challenge

ADHD is the most prevalent neuro-behavioured disorder in childhood. The prevalence of this condition in most developed countries is between 3-5% of school going children, but if explicit criteria namely, the criteria laid down by Diagnostic and statistical manual for mental disorders (DSM IV) is applied the incidence rises to as high us 12%, that is a lot of mild cases are missed.

Excellent article on ADHD; which is so often missed. Autism also needs such a work up.
