Greetings from Team PEDICON 2010 and wishing you a very happy 2010. You are aware of the political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh. This letter is to reassure you of the normal civil life in the state. As is usual the media has over reacted and has been over enthusiastic. The city is bustling with people; all modes of transport are functional. The recently concluded successful National IMA Conference on 27th and 28th December is a witness for that. The Organizing Committee has briefed the administration about the importance of the event. We have met the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri K.Rosiah Garu. He has assured the security of the delegates. The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and the Principal Secretary, Health has been informed and they have promised the necessary help. The Committee has also briefed the important political leaders about the conference. They have assured all help for the smooth conduct of the conference. The Organizing Committee is leaving no stone unturned with regards to the safety and security of the delegates and their families.
